I absolutely LOVE when Fall comes around and I can start my holiday decorating. When it comes Fall in Florida, you can’t rely on the weather to tell you. For me, as soon as I see Pumpkin Spice hit the menu at my local Starbucks and Target starts to hint with pumpkins, I know its time to get my decorations out and let the pumpkin scents emerge from back of the closet.
This year, I wanted to get a more personal wreath on my door to dress up my curb appeal. I saw this idea on Pinterest and decided to give it a go.
Instead of getting a bag of fall leaves, I opted for a plain garland and cut the leaves off myself. I would recommend going through and outlining the letter and then once its all full, go and fill in any areas you think need more leaves.
I had already attached the sheer ribbon on the letter before I put the leaves down because I did not want it going over the leaves but you can do it any way that you would like.
The frame I got was one that was already on sale at Michaels and I just took off the back and took out the glass. I will find a use for the glass in a later project i’m sure.
I love how this DIY came out and I can’t wait to see the different Fall Wreaths you guys come up with!
