Lately, buying a house has been taking up a lot of my thought space. So, of course, I have turned to Pinterest and home bloggers for some ideas of how to set up a master bedroom that would be the perfect mixture of modern and farmhouse. I do not want it to be too rustic but I also do not want it to feel cold at all.
Here are some of my favorites that I have saved and will definitely be using for inspiration when I finally get that perfect house.
I love the accent wall that Brittany used in Addison’s Wonderland. It draws the attention to the bed and how crisp and clean it looks. I also love the fact that it is not overly colorful. Its subtle and warm, which is exactly what a bedroom is meant to feel like. Plus, I am also a sucker for exposed beams so this one was perfect.
Even though the site I got this inspiration from was about bedroom paint colors, I fell in love with this set up. The love could be stemming out from the amount of natural light that is entering the room, but the wood accent from the bed and the soft shag rug could also be doing the trick.
I mean, who doesn’t love this set up?! So freaking adorable. Plus, you can download this sign right from Dear Lily Mae’s Etsy shop. She has a ton of great signs in different sizes. Perfect for bedrooms and guest rooms.
And of course, I couldn’t do a Modern Farmhouse post without mentioning Joanna Gaines and her Magnolia Homes. Her rooms speak for themselves.
