I can’t even count how many different beauty products I tried last year that I would not buy again. But there are a handful that I am glad I used and will continue to use throughout this year and more to come. I broke them down into categories for easy reading.
Cleansers and Moisturizers
I love this face cream. It leaves my face feeling so hydrated and leave it feeling amazing. I use this one at night since there isn’t much SPF going on to wear it during the day. As soon as I get out of the shower, I put some on before my face gets super dry.
I used this years before and I took a little break from it but I came back and now I can’t remember why I stopped using it. Not only does it have an amazing smell but it leaves my face smooth without drying it out as much as others used to.
This is the moisturizer that I use in the morning right before I put on my face primer and the rest of my makeup. I can instantly see the difference in my face as soon as I put it on. Not only has my face been hydrated from sleeping all night but I look refreshed and well-rested as soon as it sets. Great choice because of the SPF and it keeps my face protected for the day.
I absolutely love this concealer. It has just the right amount of coverage but it doesn’t show it on your face. By that I mean it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a ton of makeup to cover these dark circles. A little goes a long way with this concealer so there is no need to pack it in. Its not as watery as other concealers that I have used.
For the past couple of years, I have been drawn more towards water based foundations. They go on great and don’t leave me feeling like I caked my face. This is another product that a little goes a long way for. I drop a couple drops on my beauty blender and its good to go for my whole face. I picked it up about a year ago at Sephora and I haven’t looked back since.
This is a loose powder that sits so light on my face. It works for all face types and it really helps my face from feeling oily. But the best part is that it leaves such a natural finish. I have tried other powders in the past that always made it look powdery and like a different color than what I was going for.
I have this lip balm in two different colors and they are perfect for that mid day touch up during the work day. I have it in the strawberry color (like a light pink) and the cherry color (more of a sheer red). They are awesome but just wish that the color lasted longer. I also have the Revlon Kiss Lip Scrub that works perfect to smooth out the dry skin and leave a smooth canvas for my lip stains and lip sticks.
So basically, this is all that you guys are going to see me wearing this year, unless something new catches my eye!
