“Olive” you so much!
I hate when I show up to a party or get together and I do not have anything for the hostess to show my appreciation. If you’re like me, then this quick and easy rosemary infused olive oil gift is perfect! Plus, its beautiful to look at even if its not being used.I picked up these awesome bottles at Home Goods. I love shopping there because I never know what I am going to go home with. They have everything from bottles like these to super cute decorations for the Holidays at amazing prices. I picked up these tags in the dollar section at Target years ago but I am sure they have something similar there now.
There are two ways to make this olive oil:
The first way is the simplest way and is better for a longer shelf life. Add 2-3 sprigs of Rosemary into the bottle you plan on using. Then add in the olive oil. Super simple like I said.
The first option works perfect for my sister-in-law that is pictured above because she doesn’t use olive oil a lot in her recipes but it will add a visual touch to her kitchen.
The second way takes a little more time and does not last on the shelf as much but the flavor really pops when its used. Put olive oil in a sauce pan with a few sprigs of rosemary and bring to boil. Take the sprigs out and add the oil to your bottles.
I use this Rosemary Infused Olive Oil recipe mostly as the oil for Italian Bread Dip. I pour some in a plate and throw in some salt, pepper and Italian Seasoning. Perfect for appetizers to take with your hostess gift!
