Santa’s Christmas Cookies
This is one of my favorite times of the year because I get to mix Christmas cheer and baking all into one! Since my little one is starting to get more into the Christmas spirit, we can now make some cookies and leave them out for Santa. I wanted to stray away from the simple chocolate chip and sugar cookies and make something that “Santa” would really enjoy eating! I found this recipe for M&M Cookie Bars and oh my gosh they are delicious! They are fluffy and have just the right amount of chocolate chips and M&Ms in every bite. The batter itself is not super sweet but the candies and extra chocolate pieces really make up for it. Just make sure that you spread out the chocolates as much as you can! The best part that I found out of the recipe is that everything was so easy to put together and measure out. I put everything in separate measuring cups and let my daughter pour away into the mixing bowl. Then I let her press the extra M&Ms and chocolates into the batter with her tiny little hands. She had a blast and so did I watching her laugh and giggle.
