Easy Dinner? Yes Please!
Whenever a recipe has the word slow cooker in it, I do not even care what I am cooking! I am in! Ok, maybe it does matter what I am cooking but I would choose a slow cooker recipe to a non slow cooker recipe any day. It gives me the awesome feeling that someone else is cooking for me but I still get the praise when the meal comes out great. Its basically that saying about having my cake and eating it too.
For a while I have been wanting to try a baked spaghetti recipe but I kept putting it on the back burner. As soon as I saw there was a slow cooker version of it, I rushed out to get everything I needed to make it this week. The only ahead of time work I have to actually do was brown the meat but the slow cooker did all the work of getting the sauce ready while I worked around the house. As you might have read in yesterday’s post, baby girl was sick this week and I had to stay home and take care of her.
This recipe was so creamy and delicious. The meat was super flavorful because it sat on low for 6 hours in the slow cooker with the Ragu sauce. Though it does make a lot of baked spaghetti, no one in my household is complaining about it. I paired it with some Texas Toast so I would not lose any of the sauce and I could eat it all up.
