There is always something about Valentine’s Day that makes me feel like baking. I came across this cake batter fudge recipe on Pinterest that I really wanted to try. Throw some Valentine’s Day sprinkles in there and Boom! The perfect treat for such a sweet holiday.
This year, I am planning on spending Valentine’s Day super casual. Not really wanting the fancy dinner or extravagant gifts. Just a nice home cooked meal and of course the perfect dessert. Really going to get off the diet, but just for that night of course.
So if you’re planning on cooking at home and are thinking about this sweet treat, here is what you’re going to need:
- 3/4 Cups of Vanilla Cake Mix
- 14oz Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 Cups of White Chocolate Chips
- 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
- Valentine’s Day Sprinkles of Your Choice
First started off by melting the condensed milk, white chocolate chips and butter in a medium sauce pan. Remember to not have it on the heat for too long after its melted or you will burn the white chocolate. After all is melted, removed from heat and stir in cake mix and vanilla extract. Once everything is combined, mix in half of the sprinkles.
Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper and pour the combination in. After you have smoothed it out, place the remaining sprinkles on top. Place in the fridge when everything is completed. Just remember that this will need to sit in the fridge overnight to set properly.
Once set, cut the pieces into squares or you can use a heart shaped small cookie cutter if you’re really feeling it. Just be careful because it is not so easy to get the cutter back out. Trust me, tried that one first and didn’t have the patience to continue.
